Anti-Aging and You

Anti-Aging Fitness Program. Change Your Body And Be Admired - How To Get The Sexy Sleek Attractive Look You’ve Always Dreamed Of.

The best anti aging therapy is to keep yourself healthy. Eating right, exercising and thinking young will do more for you than any anti aging product or anti aging skin care product. Aging is a normal facet of everybody’s life. It is as complicated and intricate as the human body.

Aging Facts:

In 2002 there were 35.6 million Americans aged 65 or older.

Forever Young, The Anti-Aging Guide. How The Simple Art Of Eating Correctly Can Actually Prevent And Reverse The Aging Process.

By the year 2030 there will be 71.5 million Americans 65 or older.

By the year 2030 the 85+ population is projected to increase to 9.6 million from 4.6 million in 2002.

In 2021, the first of the 76 million baby boomers will turn 75, the age when health care costs begin to escalate.

Government statistics show that more than half of all Americans over age 65 show evidence of arthritis in at least one joint.

77% of all cancer malignancies are diagnosed after the age of 55.

One out of every 100 persons over the age of 60 suffers from Parkinson’s disease.

In 2002, more than 12.5 million persons aged 65 and older were discharged from hospitals - a rate three times greater than those aged 45-46.

In 2002, older consumers averaged $3,500 in out-of-pocket health care expenditures, an increase of 45% since 1992.

A third of the more than $1.7 trillion spent on U.S. healthcare each year is spent on services for older Americans.

By 2030, fully half of our projected $4 trillion healthcare costs will be spent on people 65 or older.

(The above data was taken from the Buck Institute for Age Research.)

What you should do:

Eat a varied diet with plenty of vegetables and fruits. The rawer the vegetables the better. Don’t boil the crap out of them.

Tip! So instead of jumping on the bandwagon and running to the nearest Anti Aging clinic, give yourself a break and let your body do it the natural way. Strength training coupled with diet will go a long way towards achieving your goal of not only a great looking body but also very possibly prolonging your life.

Daily exercise. And I’m not talking about lifting weights and jogging marathons. There is no better exercise than walking. A 45 minute walk in the morning and then another in the evening will do wonders. Another great low strain exercise is simple stretching. Don’t kill yourself. Do it at your own pace. Join a fitness program at a gym or the YMCA.

Quit smoking and cut back on alcohol intake.

Protect your skin with skin care products and sunscreen.

See your family doctor regularly. Make sure you are tested for diseases such as cancer and heart problems.

Maintain relationships with family and friends. And get a pet. Especially a dog. Senior’s who own dogs go to the doctors 21% less than those that don’t. Pet owners have lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels than those that don’t. Pet owners have better physical health due to exercise with their pets.

Most of what I have written about anti aging is common sense to most of us. But, sometimes we forget. There is no fountain of youth. Use your head, think young and take care of yourself.
